Meriden ArtsTrust, Inc. (MAT) presents:
The Central Connecticut Civic Youth Orchestra, (CCCYO)
Rehearsals are on Thursday afternoons at the Center Congregational Church,
474 Broad Street at the corner of East Main Street in Meriden, CT 06450
Please note that the CCCYO follows the Meriden Schools calendar and does not meet on school vacations or on snow days.
The Foundational ensemble, conducted by Mr. Chris Massa-Pelletier
meets from 4:30-6:00pm. This ensembles is for students who already have at least two years of sustained, consistent music instruction and are participating in on-going music instruction on the instrument the student will play in the CCCYO.
The Principal ensemble, conducted by Mrs. Veronica Germain, meets from 5:30-7:00pm. This ensembles is for students who already have at least four years of sustained, consistent music instruction and are participating in on-going music instruction on the instrument the student will play in the CCCYO.
The Advanced Chamber ensemble is conducted by Ms. Susan J. Cosgrove, and is for Principal ensemble members who audition to play more advanced music with more required home study. Students may also perform solo and smaller ensemble works and arrange and compose works for themselves and their peers as well.
